Weinert Finishes Eighth At Big Diamond Speedway Coalcracker 100 |

MINERSVILLE, PA - Michael Weinert overcame early skirmishes to pilot his Plant Food Company No. 18 to a top-10 finish in Sunday night's 31st Coalcracker 100 for 358-Modifieds at Big Diamond Speedway.
The Tamaqua, Pa., teenager originally started 23rd when the event when green on Sept. 4. Rain moved over after 28 laps and the remaining 72 circuits were postponed due to rain.
After being swept into multi-car jingles during the event's resumption, Weinert arrived in the to-10 following the lap-65 fuel stop and held off many of the sport's top names for a strong eighth-place result in Big Diamond's most prestigious race of the season. |
