Tough Friday Night At Big D For Weinert |

FORESTVILLE, PA - Michael Weinert showed the Plant Food Company No. 18 was fast on Friday at Big Diamond Raceway, qualifying for the main through a heat race to start the 25-lap 358-Modified feature from fourth spot.
Unfortunately, the 15-year-old was collected in a tangle early on when Gary Hager's car lost power. Restarting in the back, Weinert was the victim of an 11th-lap multi-car crash and was towed off the speedway, ultimately placing 22nd.
